19 December 2016 - Strata Law Changes in NSW

New NSW strata laws kicked-in on the 30th of November, with several significant changes to legislation and over 90 reforms to the NSW Strata Management Act. The much-anticipated and long-overdue reforms have taken more than five years to come to fruition, including three false starts and over 3000 public and professional submissions. While the vast majority of reforms have been gratefully received, some reforms including new requirements for collapsing stratas are proving controversial.
